NSA 50C Replacement: The USA-50 Countertop Filter
The NSA 50C was a popular countertop water filter, but it has been discontinued. If yours has reached the end of its life, the made-in-USA USA-50 Countertop Water Filter is our replacement, and it filters 2 times the amount of water the NSA 50C did.
How the USA-50 compares
- 10,000-gallon capacity, 2 times the amount of the old NSA 50C
- 5-stage filtration and purification with bacteriostatic GAC/KDF media
- Bacteria protection for up to 36 months
- Improves taste and color and eliminates odors, and reduces hundreds of contaminants (see GAC key)
- Installs in minutes without tools and fits all standard faucets, with adapters included
- Compact, light and sealed construction
- Made in the U.S.A. with a 60-day full replacement and 1-year pro-rata warranty
Why choose a countertop filter?
A countertop filter needs no plumbing. It sits next to your sink and connects to your faucet with a diverter, so you can switch between filtered and regular water. That makes it a great fit for renters, small kitchens, and anyone who doesn't want to install a filter under the sink.
How to set up the USA-50
- Unscrew the aerator from the end of your kitchen faucet.
- Attach the diverter to your faucet, using one of the included adapters if needed.
- Connect the tubing from the diverter to the USA-50 and set the filter on your counter.
- Turn on the cold water, switch the diverter to filtered, and run water for a few minutes before drinking.
Need a new diverter? The USA-50 diverter valve is sold separately.
When to replace it
Replace the USA-50 after 10,000 gallons or 36 months, whichever comes first.
